A UFE workshop led by Jeannette Huezo at a conference sponsored by the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (NNIRR) in Houston, TX. This workshop engages participants in sharing personal stories of their family or ancestors emigrating to the US, explores the history of the "push" and "pull" events, trends, policies, and laws that drive workers and families from their homeland, and identifies strategies to bring immigrant and native-born workers and communities together in a movement for economic justice.

Training of Trainers Institutes
by Anonymous ()UFE is one of the few national organizations that trains and supports a network of volunteer economics educators. We now have over 180 active volunteer trainers nationwide. These trained workshop leaders conduct programs on the changing economy across the country. UFE holds Training of Trainers Institutes several times a year.
UFE Workshop: The Growing Divide
by bob ()For youth members of the Community Church, Boston, this workshop will review recent trends in income and wealth distribution through participatory "live illustrations" and examine the policy changes that fuel inequality. It will also present attendees with a range of strategic initiatives and steps they can take to reverse the growing gap between the rich and everyone else.
